Victoria
Victoria grew up outside of Vancouver in a full house with her parents, two siblings, and several pets. Victoria was always involved in sports, took pride in her academics, and loved to be surrounded by friends. After graduating high school, Victoria travelled to Australia where she gained a larger sense of adventure and independence. Victoria met Neil in university and a year later agreed to come to the Yukon in 2011 for a “summer job” as a camp cook. After spending a summer in camp, working for Favron Enterprises Ltd. Victoria decided to move to Dawson City permanently and pursue placer mining with Neil. Since that summer Victoria and Neil have had four children, started their own mining business (in partnership with Favron Enterprises), are building a house, and now starting The Northern Gold Club with Tyler! Victoria and Neil are proud to raise their children as fifth generation placer miners in an environment that exemplifies hard work, family togetherness, and a unique northern lifestyle.

Neil Loveless
Neil grew up living a seasonal lifestyle where his family spent summers together at the family mine searching for gold and exploring all the Yukon has to offer. During the winters Neil’s family lived in Vancouver where Neil played sports and went to school. Later, while attending university for business in 2010, Neil met Victoria and attempted to convince her to come to the Yukon for a summer job. Although she declined the first offer, it wasn’t long before she gave it a try and together, they decided to build a life in the Yukon gold fields.
As a child, Neil had a passion for aviation which led him to getting his pilot’s license. This has now become a crucial part for transportation to their remote mining operation.
Neil is Vice President of the Klondike Placer Miner’s Association, an organization that represents local placer miners, encouraging responsible and sustainable placer mining. Neil and Victoria are proud to work alongside Guy and Lisa Favron, and together they all strive to be leaders within their placer community.
Tyler Mahoney
A fourth-generation gold prospector from Western Australia, Tyler Mahoney brings a legacy of gold mining expertise and a passion for ethical prospecting to The Northern Gold Club. As the founder of TPC and daughter of full-time gold prospectors, Tyler is committed to preserving traditional knowledge while promoting sustainable, responsible practices. Her partnership with NGC reflects a shared dedication to authenticity, transparency, and a deep respect for the gold we share with the world.
