Granular Gold: Spot price +15% (adjusted for purity)
Granular Gold is considered anything that is NOT a nugget. Each month we will send various sizes of gold from different creeks, each month's vial will look different than the last!
Coarse Gold: Spot price +25% (adjusted for purity)
Coarse gold (nuggets) are rarer and harder to come by which is reflected in the pricing. Each nugget is unique, natural, and unrefined making it highly sought after by collectors and gold enthusiasts.
Canadian residents: GST is added at checkout
What about shipping?
Shipping is a flat $10 per parcel, no matter which tier you choose. That means if you're on a $500 plan, you're getting more gold for the same shipping cost.
Not all raw gold is 24 karats. Our method is unique, as most raw gold sold online does not adjust for purity.
Gold recovered from placer mining like what we source in the Yukon is natural and unrefined, meaning its purity varies. While some regions like Australia produce relatively consistent placer gold in the 92–98% range, Yukon gold spans a much wider spectrum, ranging from as low as 62% up to 95% depending on the creek and region.
Because of these natural fluctuations, the value of raw gold can vary significantly from month to month. To ensure fairness and transparency, we adjust the price based on the actual purity of the gold included in your parcel each month.
This approach ensures that you always receive gold that’s priced accurately, reflecting both the current market rate and the true purity of what’s in your hands.
Q: How do you determine the price of gold per gram?
We calculate pricing based on the current spot price of gold in CAD per troy ounce on the 5th of every month. Then convert to grams and adjust for the natural purity of Yukon gold. (31.104 grams per troy ounce)
- EXAMPLE (USING A SPOT PRICE OF $4,400 CAD PER TROY OUNCE):
- Convert spot price to per gram:
$4,400 ÷ 31.104 = $141.46/raw gram - Adjust for purity e.g. 79% pure (Purity of gold will change each month):
$141.46 × 0.79 = $111.75/raw gram
- GRANULAR GOLD PRICING EXAMPLE (SPOT + 15%)
- Adjusted price per raw gram:
$111.75 × 1.15 = $128.51/raw gram
- $250 Granular Gold Subscribers
- $240 (after $10 shipping) ÷ $128.51 = 1.87 raw grams
- $500 Granular Gold Subscribers
- $490 (after $10 shipping) ÷ $128.51 = 3.81 raw grams
Granular gold refers to flakes and flour gold—small, natural, and collected straight from the Yukon ground. Higher-tier plans offer better gram-for-dollar value.

- Adjusted price per raw gram:
$111.75 × 1.25 = $139.69/raw gram
- $250 Coarse Gold Subscribers
- $240 (after $10 shipping) ÷ $139.69 = 1.72 raw grams

- $490 (after $10 shipping) ÷ $139.69 = 3.51 grams
Coarse gold refers to larger natural nuggets—rare, unrefined, and individually unique. Larger subscriptions help reduce your cost per gram.
We start packing the orders on the 5th of the month. Ready to be shipped between the 14th-18th of the month.
If you subscribed to the Gold Box after the 14th of the month, you have signed up after the cut off date (14th of the month) therefore you will recieve the following months box.
All orders are shipped with Canada Post.
For Canadian customers, GST and applicable provincial taxes are charged on top of the subscription price. A $10 shipping fee is already included in the subscription.
For international customers, any regional taxes or VAT may apply, along with an additional $15 shipping fee per subscription.
